Welcome to A Pretend Writer!

Because every blog needs an About page, I'm making one =)

The blog is named the way it is because that is what I feel like: a pretend writer. I write better than some of my peers, but still in no way good enough to be a real one.

This is the place where I will be posting my writing adventures. I stopped writing a few years ago because of laziness and trauma from a real writing job, but now that my life has somewhat fallen into a routine, I have been thinking about rekindling my passion for creative writing.

And so with encouragement from a dear writer friend, I have written a few pieces to get back into a hobby I have had ever since I was in school.

I hope you find my posts entertaining in one way or another, and if you feel so inclined, please leave some words of encouragement. God knows I need a lot of it!
